For this personal branding project, I developed the identity and packaging for the "Progress Bar," a gym accessory designed to streamline the connection and overloading of weight plates. The project focused on positioning a functional fitness tool within a high-end, lifestyle-oriented market.
I chose a monochromatic, black-on-black palette to emphasize the product’s sleek, industrial form while maintaining a strictly
gender-neutral appeal. The branding extends into a premium packaging concept, utilizing tactile finishes and minimalist typography to reflect the quality of the device. The final result is a cohesive brand experience that speaks to the dedication of gym enthusiasts who value both peak performance and sophisticated design.
Engineered to simplify progressive overload training, the Progress Bar allows users to quickly and securely connect additional weight plates during workouts, reducing setup time and improving efficiency between sets. The product was designed to integrate seamlessly into existing gym equipment while maintaining a clean, minimal form that reflects its premium positioning within the fitness market.
Built for long-term durability, the device utilizes a standardized stainless steel gym pin for universal compatibility and easy replacement. The outer shell is constructed from high-performance industrial polymers selected for their resistance to impact, stress, and heat, ensuring the product can withstand the demanding conditions of both commercial and personal gym environments.
