BOXING CLUB

As a co-founder and the Vice President of the campus Boxing Club, I led the development of the brand’s visual identity to establish a distinct presence on campus. The core of the project involved adapting the existing mascot, where I integrated boxing gloves to pivot the character toward a competitive, athletic context.

I made a strategic decision to move away from the traditional campus red, opting instead for a stark black-and-white palette. This shift was designed to create high contrast and a sense of neutrality, distancing the club from standard university aesthetics in favor of a grittier, more modern feel. The branding was executed across multiple touchpoints, including the Instagram identity and custom t-shirt designs, and was further supported by a series of action photographs I captured to document the club's energy and growth.

Photography also became a major part of the club’s advertising strategy. By capturing real action shots from practices, I was able to show the club’s growth, atmosphere, and physical intensity in an authentic way. These images helped communicate that the Boxing Club was not just a logo or campus organization, but an active community built around training, discipline, and shared effort.
